Charles Taylor Holloway andLillie Ruby Holloway,members of a prominent African American family who were noteworthy business owners before the Civil War and into the twentieth century, resided in the house from the1940s until circa 1970. In 2020 two new construction subordinate homes were custom designed by S Arch Studio architects and built to completion in 2022.
